About Your Local Travel Connection in Pantanal Sul in Mato Grosso do Sul!
Olá! Hello and welcome from BWT Operadora…your local connection in the Pantanal Sul, Brazil! We know our good fortune to have the opportunity to organize touristic trips in the region of Mato Grosso do Sul, which is a notably one of the most ecologically diverse areas in all of Brazil, and even the world. The city of Campo Grande, where our office is located, is right in the middle of all the action and a great spot for arranging South Panantal tours and excursions to see the critters and creatures that live in Central Brazil. We are thrilled to operate in such a beautiful destination with so much to explore and so much potential!
Many people are unaware that the Pantanal Sul is actually a better place for spotting local wildlife than the more famed Amazon Jungle, and we are here to make that possible!

Nowadays, Serra Verde Express is single-handedly operating the centenary railroad stretch that runs between Curitiba and Paranagua, Parana. This railway plies through the largest area of Atlantic Forest conserved in the country, and also in the mountain region of Espirito Santo and the Pantanal of Mato Grosso do Sul. This track was previously operated by the Brazilian federal government through the Federal Railway Network (RFFSA), and has over the last 10 years become into the second largest tourism attraction in Parana.
The knowledge acquired through the operation of the system from Paranaguá to Curitiba made the Serra Verde Express anxious to adopt a new enterprise in the railroad industry and launch the country's first luxury train - the Great Brazil Express in 2008. To ensure the success of this project, the entrepreneurs went to Belgium to partner with Transnico International, one of the most renowned international tourist agencies specializing in rail tours and incentive travel.
In May 2009, the company reinstated the charming Pantanal train, after it had been out of service for over a decade; this train operates the track between Campo Grande, Aquidauana and Miranda, Mato Grosso do Sul. In January of 2010, Serra Verde Express began the operation of the Capixabas’ Mountain train, which aims to promote tourism in the Route of the Sun and Mountain in the state of Espírito Santo.
